Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to raise the level of awareness among healthcare professionals of the far-reaching consequences of malnutrition on American hospital patients and the impact that nutrition care has on maximizing patient outcomes while minimizing costs for healthcare stakeholders.

  • Describe the effects of poor nutritional status on patient recoveries
  • Recognize the impact that nutrition care has on maximizing patient outcomes
